During my first semester at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar I took a course called "Feminist Food Landscapes and Kitchen Countercultures". Part of our homework assignment was to read books and research papers and record our reactions in some form of a diary. Here are some of my illustrations for these texts.

Some of the Reading material was:
Avakian, Arlene Voski & Haber, Barbara. "Feminist Food Studies: a Brief History" (From Betty Crocker to Feminist Food Studies);
Doucet, Andrea & Mauthner, Natasha S. "Feminist Methodologies And Epistemology";
Sachs, Carolyn. "Feminist Food Sovereignty: Crafting a New Vision";
Myers, Lily "Shrinking Women".
